The reform of the Gaming Law advances with its round of meetings

Meetings will continue until September

The gambling regulator received more than 50 allegations in the previous public consultation on the reform.

Throughout July, the gambling regulator met with Jdigital, the face-to-face gambling associations and LaLiga to find out their observations on the reform. The round will continue in September with the participation of other entities that also presented observations in the previous process.

The organism has not detailed who the next participants will be nor when will this phase conclude. The announced dates also do not allow establishing the deadlines for the rest of the reform. For now, there is no complete schedule for the procedure.

The dialogue will serve to directly contrast the proposals received during the consultation prior public, open between May and June 22. It has not yet been decided what contributions will be incorporated into the standard. The objective is to gather more relevant information before preparing the first regulatory text.

The next steps of the Philippines Gambling Law

When the meetings are over and the contributions have been analyzed, the gambling regulator will write a first draft of the reform .
